I’m Steve Rhee and my wife Jenny Liu and I have lived in Arcadia for 15 years.
I’m a father of two girls, a business owner in Arcadia, and an active participant in several community organizations and initiatives.
I’m a father of two girls, a business owner in Arcadia, and an active participant in several community organizations and initiatives.
You might know me from Downtown Arcadia, Arcadia Education Foundation, PTSA, Tournament of Roses, Girl Scout Girl Dad who helps with the cookie sales, and my work on the Homelessness Taskforce.
My experience as a business person, community volunteer and an active citizen of Arcadia, provides me with a unique and qualified perspective to serve as your voice on City Council.
I’m committed to public safety and ensuring Arcadia remains fiscally responsible.
I’m passionate about effective new solutions to the homelessness issue. The Grant Vs. Johnson Case is a game changer and gives us an opportunity to take a new approach to homelessness solutions and will allow us to collaborate with other cities.
As we look forward to the World Cup in 2026 and the 2028 Olympics, I aim to advocate for and develop opportunities for Arcadia.
I have chosen to self-fund my campaign and not accept any financial donations because my commitment is to serve the interests of the voters and not be beholden to financial donors.
A vote for me is a vote for a dedicated problem-solver who knows how to work with people to get things done.
I hope to meet you in person, listen to your concerns and ideas and share what I plan to do if elected to Arcadia City Council.
Sincerely,
Steve Rhee

One thing is clear, public safety must be our top priority.
Fiscal Responsibility
It’s time for a fresh approach and real action—no more arguing or finger pointing. Let’s come together and work on solutions.
We can’t afford to wait.
Last year, Arcadia spent $1,407,067.38 on homelessness-related services.
I’ll work to bring that number down with a new approach:
Preparing Arcadia for future events and economic growth:
2026 World Cup and 2028 Olympics: Let’s find ways for Arcadia to leverage these global events to boost the local economy while ensuring public safety and preparedness.
